ERRORES COMUNES IV

Hola a tod@s!!

En ésta entrada os dejo otra lista de errores comunes, espero que os ayude.

1.-Advice

En español se dice "Dar UN consejo", pero en inglés no se puede poner a/an delante de un nombre incontable, asi que se dice:

• "She gave me some advice", no se puede decir "She gave an advice".

2.-WHAT COLOUR
A veces decimos "which" en vez de "what":

• What colour are your eyes? no se dice which color
• What color is your hair? 

3.- CONGRATULATIONS

• Congratulations ON your new job, no FOR your new job

4.-THAT / IT 
Si te cruzas con alguien que te saluda y no sabes quien es, o si llaman a la puerta y vas a ver quien es se utiliza THAT o IT:

•  I don´t know who THAT is  
•  I´m going to see who IT is no who he is

5.- PROBLEM

• The problem of finding a good teacher, no the problem to find a good teacher

6.-PAST

• I haven´t paid the bill yet, no I didn´t pay the bill yet

7.- HOLIDAY

• I´ve been on holiday no holidays

8.-ADVERTISEMENT

• I saw an advertisement FOR a teaching job, no OF a teaching job

9.-THE SUN RISES

• The sun rises in the east, not from

10.-VIVIR HASTA LOS..

• She lived to be 95 no she lived to 95
