ALTHOUGH / THOUGH: (OLDOU) (DOU)

• Pueden significar "but" "pero":

• Mary is coming next month although I´m not sure which day she is coming. (Mary viene el mes que viene pero no se que día).
• We didn´t go though nobody knows why. (No fuimos pero nadie sabe por qué). 

• Ambos significan lo mismo, "Aunque", pero se utiliza más THOUGH. 

• I still feel humgry even though I had a big lunch. (Todavía tengo hambre aunque he comido mucho).
• Even though I earn a lot of money, I never seem to have any to spare. (Aunque gano mucho dinero, parece que nunca me sobra).
• Though it was rainy, we went for a walk. (Aunque estaba lluvioso, salimos a dar un paseo). 

• THOUGH, puede significar lo mismo que HOWEVER (Haueva) o NEVERTHELESS (Neverdeles) "sin embargo", "no obstante".Y se suele poner al final de la frase. Ésto no se puede hacer con ALTHOUGH.

• I don´t mind, though. (De todos modos no me importa).

• It´s tasty, though. (Sin embargo sabe bien).

•  Significando Even if "aunque" "incluso". Although/though + ING

• Peter, although working hard this term, still needs to put more work into mathematics. (Peter, aunque ha trabajado duro este trimestre, aún necesita trabajar más las matemáticas).
• Be patient, though getting stronger, is still not well enough to come off his medication. (Se paciente, aunque está poniéndose mas fuerte, todavia no esta del todo bien como para retirarle la medicación).
