MAY OR MIGHT

En ésta entrada os dejo las diferencias entre "May" y "Might", espero que os sea de utilidad.

1. MAY

• Para pedir permiso de un modo formal

• May I borrow your pen?

• Para decir que algo es posible que ocurra

• It may rain later 

2.MIGHT

• Se utiliza al igual que "May" para decir que algo es posible que ocurra, pero con menos posibilidades que si decimos "May". 

• She might be at home, but it´s not sure at all.
• I thought he might be hungry. 
• It might be dangerous / It mightn´t be safe.
• I thought you might like to join me for dinner.

• Para el pasado se utiliza MIGHT HAVE

•  I might have dropped it in the street.
